Additional Topics: <br /> 1. Dick Cook raised the question aboutthe possibility of porta-potties at town landings,in <br /> particular Ockway Bay landing. He stated the obvious health concerns involved and the odors <br /> being produced by a lack of facilities. Previously,the budget dollars for this were in the Shellfish <br /> budget but not last year or this year. Donovan shared his concerns and will bring forward to the <br /> DPW. <br /> 2. Chairman Thomas asked about the status of the newly approved Rules and Regulations.It has <br /> been indicated by the Town Clerk it must go to the State first for approval prior to <br /> implementation. <br /> 3. Chairman Thomas asked if any formal "plans" have been developed to address the <br /> overabundance of oysters this year.This is a problem that has been on the horizon for some time <br /> and a remedy is needed sooner ratherthan later. A very lengthy discussion focus ingon potential <br /> commercial oystering,increase of recreational limits, donatingto a food bank etc. Many ideas <br /> and thoughts were shared with DNRand Shellfish.
