<br /> <br /> <br />Mashpee Conservation Commission Minutes <br />T hursday, April 14, 2022 <br />Waquoit Meeting Room, Mashpee Town Hall, 16 Great Neck Road North <br />508-539-1400, extension 8564 <br />Broadcast Live on Local Cable Channel 18 <br /> <br />Streamed live on the Town of Mashpee website: https://www.mashpeema.gov/channel-18 <br /> <br />PRESENT: Chad Smith, Charlie Dalton, Alexandra Zollo, Paul Colombo, Erin Copeland, Brian <br />Weeden <br />CALL MEETING TO ORDER: Chairman Smith called the meeting to order at 6:00pm. <br />Pledge of Allegiance <br /> <br />PRE/POST-HEARING AGENDA: <br />• Brad Sweet- Retirement from Conservation Commission <br />Mr. Sweet has submitted his request for retirement from the Conservation Commission. <br />• Childs River CA- Garner Bog illegal wetland alteration. Suggested solutions <br />A group of kids had dugout a ditch in the southwest corner of the bogs, which resulted in the slowly <br />draining the pond. We’re working with Falmouth Rod & Gun Club to fill the ditch and take measures to <br />prevent future activity in that area. <br /> <br /> <br />HEARINGS: <br /> <br /> <br />6:00 Francis & Linda Farricy, Trustees, 144 Wheeler Road. Proposed addition to existing RDA <br />dwelling. <br />Frank and Linda Farricy, Homeowners, presented plans. <br />Agent said their plantings are in line with what we’d recommend for mitigation. Meets <br />performance standards. <br />Assistant Agent read Board of Health and Building Department comments. <br />Mr. Colombo asked if the addition is for a bedroom. Frank Farricy answered no. <br />Mr. Dalton motioned for a negative determination with the condition homeowners <br />cooperate with Conservation Department for mitigation. <br />Mr. Colombo seconded the motion. <br />Vote: 5-0-0 <br />Roll Call Vote: <br />Ms. Zollo; yes <br />Mr. Weeden; yes <br />Mr. Dalton; yes <br />Mr. Colombo; yes <br />Mr. Smith; yes <br />In favor, 5; Opposed, 0; Abstentions, 0 <br /> <br />
