Mackenzie Ryan <br /> the Enterprise, Sue Dangle <br /> The minutes of the July 26, 2022 meeting were accepted as written after a motion by Don MacDonald <br /> and second by Mike Rapacz. <br /> Agenda topics <br /> [Agenda topic 1] Lake level/River outflow <br /> Discussion: Debi did the lake measurements on Augustl st and August 15th. Both times the levels were <br /> 55.0 feet above sea level There was 8.5 inches of water flowing over the board on the 1st and 7.5 inches <br /> on the 15th. There was 6.5 inches of water in the stream by the stairs on the I". of this month down to 5.5 <br /> inches on the 15th. Barbara measured 1.3 inches of water in her rain gauge from mid -June to mid-July. <br /> Drew has obtained anew gauge and we are waiting for DPW to install it. The one up now is unreadable. <br /> _............... __._ ... _.. . ....... .... __m ..w.._........ . . . .. ...... .__..._w. .. ...._....._.........w.... ......... .. <br /> Conclusions: The lake level is down to 55.0 ft. above sea level. <br /> [Agenda topic 2] M W Lake Study Update <br /> Discussion: The study being done by Brian Howes at UMass Dartmouth is underway, and daily data is <br /> being collected. The buoys marking the meters have been hit by boats or moved. Better education of boat <br /> owners of the buoys' purpose is needed. <br /> Conclusions: The study is in progress. <br /> [Agenda topic 3] M. W. Lake Water Quality <br /> Discussion: The Town is testingthe water quality weekly and it is acceptable for swimming at this time. <br /> q Y Y P <br /> Cyanobacteria testing is being taken over by APCC. Barnstable County is testing weekly for enterococcus <br /> and E.coli at both Attaquin and camp Farley. <br /> Conclusion: The water is acceptable for swimming at this time. <br />
