7 <br /> Community Preservation Committee <br /> Minutes <br /> October 6, 2022 <br /> NEW BUSINESS <br /> Establish a Deadline Date for UcominA a licaton Round: <br /> The Chair requested the CPC consider altering the deadline for applications to be considered for <br /> the next round of funding at the May 2023 Town Meeting to November 17, 2023 to allow for <br /> ample time for project submittals. This would be for this funding round only. <br /> The regular deadline date is November 1, 2022 for projects to be considered at the May 2023 <br /> Town Meeting. The deadline to submit articles for the May Town Meeting is the second <br /> Monday in February. <br /> Motion made by Ms.Waygan to revise the application deadline for projects to be <br /> considered at the May 2023 Town Meeting to November 17,2022 for this year only. <br /> Motion seconded by Ms.Barbee. <br /> VOTE: Unanimous. 8-0. <br /> Roll Call Vote: <br /> Ms.Russell,yes Mrs. Thayer,yes Mr.Larkin,yes Ms.Waygan, yes <br /> Mr.Weeden,yes Ms. Barbee,yes Mr. Smith,yes Mr.Klein,yes <br /> Opposed, none <br /> Establish a Subcommittee for CPCwWebageWU1date/Recommendations: <br /> The above referenced topic was deferred until the CPC Plan is developed. <br /> In brief discussion it was agreed that additional information would be reflected on the CPC <br /> webpage to give more information about CPA projects that have been funded as well as other <br /> information that may be reflective of the CPC Plan. <br /> mm . .. _.........n. <br /> Establish a Subcommittee to Deve opma CPC Pla . <br /> The Community Preservation Act requires a CPA Plan/Study. It was agreed a working group <br /> would be formed to develop an updated CPA Plan/Study consisting of the following members; <br /> Mary Waygan, Chad Smith and Richard Klein. <br />
