8 <br /> Community Preservation Committee <br /> Minutes <br /> October 6, 2022 <br /> COMMUNICATIONS & CORRESPONDENCE <br /> Ogden Meeting Law Coplaint from Meredith Kilpatrick: <br /> A brief discussion followed with respect to an Open Meeting Law Complaint dated September <br /> 28,2022 from Meredith Kilpatrick regarding certain members of the Community Preservation <br /> Committee. <br /> Upon receipt, copies of the Open Meeting Law Complaint were disseminated to all Community <br /> Preservation Committee members. The matter was placed on the CPC agenda to review the <br /> complaint. <br /> The CPC reviewed the Open Meeting Law Complaint form by reading aloud the instructions for <br /> a public body that receives a complaint. A brief discussion followed with respect to process. <br /> The following action was taken; <br /> Motion made by Ms.Waygan to delegate the response to Town Counsel through the Office <br /> of the Town Manager and further authorize the payment of Legal Fees through the <br /> Administrative budget of the CPC. <br /> Motion seconded by Mr.Larkin. <br /> VOTE: Unanimous. 8-0. <br /> Roll Call Vote: <br /> Ms. Russell, yes Mrs. Thayer, yes Mr. Larkin, yes Ms.Waygan, yes <br /> Mr. Weeden,yes Ms. Barbee,yes Mr. Smith,yes Mr. Klein,yes <br /> Opposed,none <br /> CorrestWndence from CPC: <br /> At the last meeting the CPC decided to remit a letter to Andrew R. Gottlieb,the former <br /> Community Preservation Committee Chair in appreciation for his past service and his dedication. <br /> Motion made by Ms.Waygan to accept the letter as presented. <br /> Motion seconded by Mr. Smith. <br /> VOTE: Unanimous. 8-0. <br /> Roll Call Vote: <br /> Ms.Russell, yes Mrs. Thayer,yes Mr.Larkin,yes Ms.Waygan,yes <br /> Mr.Weeden,yes Ms. Barbee,yes Mr. Smith, yes Mr.Klein,yes <br /> Opposed, none <br />
