Nichols <br /> Attendees: Members: Donald MacDonald, Barbara Nichols, Paul Bibo, Mike Rapacz <br /> Guests: Ashley Fisher DNR, Sue Dangle <br /> The minutes of the August 23, 2022 meeting were accepted as written after a motion by Don MacDonald <br /> and second by Mike Rapacz. <br /> Agenda topics <br /> [Agenda topic 11 Lake level/River outflow <br /> Discussion: Debi did the lake measurements on September 2"' and 21"'. Both times the levels were 55.0 <br /> feet above sea level There were 8 inches of water flowing over the board on the 2 nd and 9 inches on <br /> the 21 st. There were 6 inches of water in the stream by the stairs on the 2 d of this month and 7 inches on <br /> the 21 s'. Barbara measured 2.4 inches of water in her rain gauge from mid -July to mid- September. <br /> We are still waiting for DPW to install the new metal gauge which Drew in Conservation has obtained as <br /> the one up now is unreadable. <br /> .................................. ............. .................. <br /> Conclusions: The lake level is steady at 55.0 ft. above sea level. <br /> I [Agenda topic 21 M W Lake Study Update <br /> Discussion: The study being done by Brian Howes at UMass Dartmouth is underway. <br /> ... ...... ...... ...... <br /> ,d <br /> Conclusions: We hope to get preliminary results at the Select Board meeting on October 3 <br /> [Agenda topic 31 M. Lake Water Quality <br /> Discussion: Barnstable County has completed its 13 weeks of swim season sampling for E-coli and <br /> Clostridium and both the sites at Attaquin Beach and Camp Farley were acceptable throughout the season. <br /> Lowell Holly is also tested as a private site and that also passed each test. <br /> There was one week closure from June into July for Cyanobacteria which is now tested by APCC. <br /> Conclusion: The take passed bacterial tests done by Barnstable County for the entire swim season.
