The Community Gardens has been <br /> very successful, and they asked to use more of the land this year to expand the <br /> gardens. <br /> Catherine and the DPW will be planting shrubs to screen around the new Schoolhouse <br /> AC unit. Richard has volunteered to water them until they get established. <br /> Rosemary is presently working on researching the names of places around town that <br /> very few people know about. She eventually is planning to print a little booklet with her <br /> information. 'She is also working on research regarding the history of the Mashpee <br /> Baptist Church. We had relatives of Reverend MacMillan, Stephen Howland and his <br /> brother, who visited the Archives this past summer, which initiated her research. She <br /> also mentioned that the Parsonnage had been used by tenants who were not connected <br /> to the church. She also talked about the Wells Salt Works, and the access road, which <br /> is called Wills Work Road. <br /> Ava announced the date for the next meeting will be Thursday, September 1,, 2022. <br /> Brian Hyde made a motion that we adjourn, and Nancy seconded it was voted on <br /> unanimously at 5:1 Opm. <br /> Respectfully submitted <br /> Ann Graham, Sr. Clerk <br />
