Review of Cross-Jurisdictional Sharing Commitment Letter. Mr. Baumgaertel recused himself
from the reviewing of the commitment letter due to a conflict of interest given that he is a
Barnstable County employee.
Mrs. Willander briefly described the possible benefits of participation in the Public Health
Excellence Grant Program, as well as what conditions of participation would be. Since this is a
non-binding document and there are no direct costs to the Town, it is a good idea to indicate our
interest by submitting the letter, so that we have a "seat at the table" and an opportunity to
participate in discussion that will ultimately drive the programming and services offered. Mr.
Harrington commented that participating in the grant can provide additional funding that can help
to expand BOH and public health capacity.
There being no further comments or discussion, Kripani Patel moved to approve the submission
of the Cross-Jurisdictional Sharing Grant Participation Commitment Letter. Motion seconded by
Ernest Virgilio. Roll call vote: Kripani Patel (yes); Ernest Virgilio (yes). VOTE: Unanimous (2-0).
2. COVID-19 Update.
