There being no further comments or discussion, Kripani Patel moved to continue the review of <br /> the Cross-Jurisdictional Sharing Commitment Letter to the next meeting. Motion seconded by <br /> Brian Baumgaertel. Roll call vote: Kripani Patel(yes); Brian Baumgaertel(yes). VOTE: Unanimous <br /> (2-0). <br /> 3. COVID-19 Update. Assistant Health Agent, Mrs. Willander commented the following regarding <br /> COVID-19: <br /> o Monitored epidemiological data from the MA Department of Public Health and <br /> Barnstable County Department of Health & Environment <br /> a Participated in bi-weekly DPH webinars and bi-weekly conference calls with the Cape Cod <br /> Health Agents' Coalition <br /> o Provided updated case numbers to the public safety answering point and the Town <br /> Manager's Office <br /> o Maintain open communication with the School Nurse Coordinator regarding new cases <br /> and trends <br /> o Maintained open lines of communication with administrators at local congregate care <br /> facilities regarding cases among residents and staff, and monitoring clusters at one <br /> facilities <br /> o Maintained the Town website COVID-19 page <br /> o Provided guidance to local residential day camps on how to acquire free Antigen tests <br /> through the state, and several camps are already in receipt of their supply of tests <br /> Mrs. Willander further commented that, effective July 1, 2022, new guidance advises <br /> that masks indoors are optional for most individuals, regardless of vaccination status. Individuals are <br /> still required to wear masks or face coverings in certain settings, including in health care <br /> facilities. DPH continues to advise masks for individuals with a weakened immune system, those at <br /> increased risk for severe disease because of age or underlying conditions, or who have a household <br /> member with a weakened immune system and at increased risk. <br /> This week the Commonwealth will began distributing over 2 million rapid tests for municipalities to <br /> provide to their residents.The Baker-Polito Administration has made these tests available to all 351 <br /> cities and towns in the Commonwealth, and a total of 264 municipalities have requested tests. Each <br /> municipality will have to determine how to distribute tests to their residents. <br /> As of this meeting, Mashpee has five (5)confirmed cases in isolation. <br /> As of June 4th,the daily incident rate in Mashpee was 31.3, and the 14-day positivity rate was 8.74%. <br /> NEW BUSINESS <br /> 1. Review and approval of expense warrants. Expense warrants were reviewed and approved by <br /> Brian Baumgaertel and Kripani Patel. <br /> 2. Request for variance—53 Lakeview Drive, Scannell Well Drilling. Mr. Harrington commented <br /> that,a variance has been requested to allow an irrigation well to be installed in an area of known <br /> or anticipated groundwater contamination. The Military has advised the BOH that PFC <br /> concentrations in the area have exceeded the EPA health advisory concentration. <br /> 2 <br />
