Health Agent <br /> Ernest Virgilio, Vice-Chair <br /> Chair Brian Baumgaertel called the Board of Health Meeting to order at 6:01 PM. <br /> OLD BUSINESS <br /> 1. Review of Septic Design Plan—12 Popponesset Island Road.Chair Baumgaertal commented that <br /> this is continued from last meeting. Raul Lizardi-Rivera,engineer from Cape&Islands, introduced <br /> himself for the record and took questions from the Board. He stated that Cape & Islands are <br /> helping out Holmes and McGrath with this project. Mr. Lizardi explained that it is a septic <br /> reconstruction for a boat house with a bathroom, and there is a difference in elevation so an <br /> ejector pump is necessary to pump up to the existing system.The distance is 81',and the existing <br /> structure is being rebuilt. Alarm must be on a separate circuit than the pump itself. <br /> There being no further comments or discussion, Ernest Virgilio moved to approve the septic <br /> design plan for 12 Popponesset Island Road. Motion seconded by Brian Baumgaertel. Roll call <br /> vote: Brian Baumgaertel(yes); Ernest Virgilio (yes). VOTE: unanimous(2-0) <br /> 2. Review of Septic Design Plan—278 Meetinghouse Road.Chair Baumgaertel commented that this <br /> is continued from last meeting. Chair Baumgaertel stated his primary concern is the well set back <br /> which is shown to be 100'on the plan, but 150' is the requirement. Ms.Willander had a message <br /> from the well driller that it is "as far as it can go" and there are powerlines above. Ms. Willander <br /> stated that she does not know if he explored completely relocating the well to the rear of to <br /> property. No variance was requested. <br /> There being no further comments or discussion, Ernest Virgilio motioned to continue review of <br /> septic design plan for 278 Meetinghouse Road to the next meeting. Motion seconded by Brian <br /> Baumgaertel. Roll call vote: Ernest Virgilio (yes); Brian Baumgaertel (yes).VOTE: Unanimous(2-0) <br /> 3. Review of Septic Design Plan—294 Mashpee Neck Road. Chair Baumgaertel commented that is <br /> continued from last meeting. Ms.Willander commented that plans show a 10 foot set-back from <br /> waterline;the SAS is partially under driveway and should be vented, risers are not shown on tank <br /> and D-box to bring the covers within 6 inches of finished grade,and the plan needs a land surveyor <br /> stamp as well as an engineer or RS, since it is new construction.
