Preservation Plan: <br />Current COMMumt Preservation Plan: <br />ExamTrle Plans fromµ Other Towns: <br />Comments Received to Date: <br />._........_........... ..w... _ _. ..... <br />Prgposed Plan ScorreFormat Sections and Alroval Pr©cessµ, <br />The subcommittee conducted review of the current Community Preservation Plan and the <br />examples from the plans as identified. <br />Discussion followed regarding the potential structure of Mashpee's CPC Plan. This includes; <br />Introduction, <br />Overview of the Community Preservation Act; Bylaw, History, Financials, <br />To include the Role of the CPC to vote and recommend to the legislative body, Town Meeting, <br />The vision statement to be consistent with the current Local Comprehensive Plan to include the <br />mission statement of the Select Board to maintain Mashpee's rural character, <br />Explanation of the Community Preservation Act to include a chart of eligibility using <br />Manchester and a calendar of funding, <br />How the CPC prioritizes projects. To add guiding principles or goals such as the prioritization to <br />protect the environment, green space and drinking water, <br />Use of Community Preservation Coalition charts for qualifying CPA projects, <br />Financial overview using graphics similar to those previously prepared, <br />Pictorial overview of signature projects, <br />List of projects to date, <br />Key Definitions, M.G.L. statute — Request Watertown send in WORD format, <br />Appendixes — To contain items be updated on a regular basis. <br />It was suggested an executive summary be developed independent from the Plan. <br />
