CPA funds in the amount of
$425,000 were awarded in October 2021 to replace the 35-year old concrete boat ramp and
install a concrete scour pad at the end of the ramp.
The project included drainage infrastructure to the road leading to the ramp as well as repaving
the roadway. As a result of a competitive bid process, it is likely that funding would be returned
to the CPC coffers. This is a popular location for boating, kayaking and shellfishing.
A future project is planned to add a trench drain to capture the stormwater before it enters into
the bay. The Association to Preserve Cape Cod has identified sites at the boat ramps that impact
groundwater. It is anticipated that grant funds would be available for design.
