S <br />Mashpee Select Board <br />Minutes <br />December 5, 2022 <br />Public Comment: <br />Planning Board Chair Mary Waygan announced the launching of a public opinion survey for the <br />Town's Local Comprehensive Plan. This is a strategic planning document for the entire town on <br />housing, water, economic development, roadways, land use, community development, and open space, <br />etc. Hardcopies of the survey will be available at the Mashpee Public Library, the Planning Department <br />Office located within the Mashpee Town Hall, and at the Mashpee Senior Center. Each facility will <br />have drop off boxes. The survey can be completed online at <br />r,rJvYn,, SILJO ao rrj,J,t, o. """) 1JulV��r� <br />A virtual community workshop will be held on Monday, December 30, 2022 via ZOOM. This will <br />focus on the needs and vision of the community. Information may be found by calling the Planning <br />Department 508-539-1414 or reviewing the Town of Mashpee website and/or social media page as well <br />as online <br />Public Hearing-wAnnual Alcoholic Bevprages & Entertainment Licenses: <br />Acting as the Local Licensing Authority for the Town of Mashpee, the Select Board opened the Public <br />Hearing on the 2023 Annual Alcoholic Beverages and Entertainment License renewals for the Town of <br />Mashpee. The hearing notice was read aloud into the record in accordance with posting procedures. <br />The Building Commissioner and Fire Department has verified that all licensed establishments have <br />passed building ad fire inspections. The Health Agent has verified that all licensed establishments have <br />passed health inspections, and there are no reported violations from the Chief of Police. All licensed <br />establishments are current on their property taxes, and have filed complete renewal applications. All <br />license holders have submitted proof of workers' compensation insurance as mandated by the State, as <br />well as proof of liquor liability insurance as required. <br />The following licensed establishments include; <br />Package Store — All Alcohol <br />Package Store — Wine & Malt <br />Restaurant — All Alcohol <br />Restaurant — Wine & Malt <br />Commercial Club — All Alcohol <br />Farmer Brewery Pouring — Malt Only <br />Farmer Distillery Pouring <br />The Select Board opened the hearing to solicit comment. Being none, the Select Board took the <br />following action; <br />Motion made by Selectman Cotton to close the Public Hearing. <br />Motion seconded by Selectman Wyman -Colombo. <br />VOTE: Unanimous. 4-0. <br />Roll Call Vote: <br />Selectman Weeden, yes Selectman Cotton, yes Selectman O'Hara, yes <br />Selectman Wyman -Colombo, yes Opposed, none <br />
