<br />Present: Superintendent Patricia DeBoer, Assistant Superintendent Hope Hanscom, Chair Nicole Bartlett, Vice Chair Cathy Lewis, Secretary
<br />Brian Weeden, Member Don Myers, Member Matt Davis
<br />Also present: Director of Special Education Jaime Curley, Quashnet School Principal MaryKate O'Brien, Mashpee Middle -High School
<br />Principal Stacy Monette, Coombs School Assistant Deb Goulart, Roxanne Mills -Brown, John Hanlon
<br />Ms. Bartlett called the meeting to order at 5:34 PM
<br />1. Ratify agenda of November 16, 2022:
<br />Note: Any questions posed by individual School Committee members in advance of this meeting and responses thereto are posted on
<br />the District's website ("School Committee Packets" and on the "Finance" page)
<br />Motion to approve agenda with following edits: remove Representative from Wampanoag Tribal Education Center and
<br />Student Representative from agenda
<br />Motion to approve: Ms. Lewis

<br />2. Public Comment: none
<br />3. Mashpee Wampanoag Tribal Education Department Update
<br />Ms. Mills -Brown and Mr. Hanlon provided a history of Native American Heritage month and how it came about as well as an update on
<br />happenings and offerings in the Education Department.
<br />4. M.A.S.S. Academic Excellence Award Presentation
<br />Superintendent DeBoer awarded the 2022 M.A.S.S. Academic Excellence Award to MMHS Senior Katrina Mayen.
<br />5. Mashpee Middle -High School Presentation: Share -out Grade 10 Washington, DC Trip
<br />Principal Monette introduced grade 10 students who traveled to Washington, DC in October. Eve Mayen, Hannah Rogers, Cameron
<br />Katz, Aiden Chisholm, and Isabella Andrini expressed their appreciation for the wonderful and educational experience.
<br />6. Student Representative Deliyah Fortes
<br />Miss Fortes updated the Committee on MMHS athletics, student government, and extra-curriculars.
