All new subdivision plans approved after January firs <br /> are protected for 5 yearso not?. <br /> The Act becomes law in 1978v but if the town accepts it now <br /> the Board would receive the Following powers: <br /> 1. Any b a&l .w written after January first must conform but <br /> zoning map amendments do not* <br /> 2. Allows the town to vote a, b awl ,w giving the Planning <br /> Board. special permit granting au horit o <br /> 3. Allows the Board of Appeals to decide only those spec <br /> i a,l pewit applications it is empowered to judge. <br /> 4.
