PLANNING BOARD Town of M ashpee PLANNING BOARD MINUTES: 6-v l--8 3 Cont'd Page 4 e The Board agreed Charles Rowley should look at the roads and make a report and asked that Mr. Bornstein come to the next meeting. Mr.. Bornstein said he would mail a copy of the plan to Mr. Rowley prior to the meeting, The Board said he would need one more copy.. The Board approved the abandonment of a way in New Seabury for which a public hearing had been held on May 18, 1983. They asked this secretary to write Atty. Pye to come back before the Board with an original assent form to be signed by the Board. The Board discussed the resumes submitted by Wayne Tavares and Janice Mills. Mr. Terrysuggested Janice Mills be considered for the position on the Planning Board. He said she's been in town a long time, she's a business woman and sh she's not involved e in land development. He went on•to say she would be a balance that would be good for the Planning Board and she's a concerned citizen and an even tempered type person. Mr. Terry said the selection would be a joint recommendation between the Planning Board and the Board of Selectmen and Janice Mills is acceptable to -will Hanson and to himself. He asked the Planning Board to write a Letter to the Board of Selectmen s ay ing when he, Mr. Terry, submits his -resignation, they recommend Janice Mills f i11 the position. Ms. Ston-e asked Mr. Terry when he was planning on resigning and he said he' s just waiting. to see what candidate is coming in. He wants to see that someone qualified will get in. He will consider when he'll resign as it goes along. The Board agreed to wait until the next meeting to make their recommendation. and Mr. Jonas suggested they hold an Executive Session before 8:00..
