y , <br /> MINUTES OF THE <br /> MEETING OF T R <br /> PLANNING BOARD <br /> DATE: February 21, 1979 <br /> TIME: 7:3O P.M. <br /> PRESENT: Earle M.a.rsters, Donald Blakeman and Harold Collins f as well as the Town <br /> Engineer, Philip Holmes. Absent: Richardson Jonas. <br /> r <br /> The secretary was not present at the February lath meeting,due to a conflict <br /> ap <br /> in scheduling of town committee meetings* It. should be noted that Thomas Bo ur- <br /> ge ois resigned his Chairmanship as well as his seat on the Planning Board, due to <br /> the fact that he no longer resides in Mashpee. <br /> Also dealt with at that meeting was an ANR - Edward S. Anderson - west of <br /> Monomoscoy Road, abutting Little River .. two parcels of land: (1) 1,725+ square <br /> feet; (2) 19# square feet. Mr. .Jonas believes that this is not an ANR and not <br /> a subdivision and we should have a legal opinion on it. <br /> Mr. Marsters said that the immediate problem was to solve the zoning:. A <br /> Public Hearing will be scheduled on the regular meeting date, April 4th-, with <br /> Publication a.n. the Cape Cod Times on Iv <br /> arch 14 and 21, 1979. Mr. Reardon will. <br /> be requested to attend the March 7th meeting in order to get his help in de- <br /> signing the necessary-bylaw concerning mobile home zoning. Also to be discussed <br /> is the possible inclusion in R=-3 of the westerly strip of the Mashpee Raver from <br /> Route 28 in -the north to the southerly intersection of Great Neck Road and Red <br /> Brook Road. <br /> . Mr. Collins said that according to 808, mobile homes are allowed for one <br /> year and Mr. Marsters said that the town, allows it* I1r. Collins said that there <br /> .is something similar to that in the state building code. Mr. Marsters said that <br /> 808 enables certain things, but it is up to the local community to authorize them; <br /> 808 leaves it open. Mr.- Holmes added that some things are mandator. <br /> ............... <br /> Mr. Marsters stated that the Selectmen have the power to appoint Steven vary. Tol <br /> to fill Mr. Bourgeois seat because. he was runner-up 3.n the election. Mr. Marsters <br /> checked with Mr. Van, Tol and he is not interested because he is too busy at the pre- <br /> sent time. <br /> Yx. Marsters said that Charles Buckingham wants someone to serge on the dis- <br /> posal area selection committee and Mr. Blakeman said he will serve until Mr. Mar- <br /> sters can get someone else. <br /> Mr. Blakeman mentioned the March 25th Salute to spring and asked what the <br /> Planning Board could contribute to a display' table.
