The FLUPSYs in Little River have been de -fouled. All of the land based tanks have been cleaned and all
of the silos have been sorted. The pumps have been winterized. They will be setting up deicing in
Ockway Bay now that power has been installed there.
Mr. Avis stated that there was some runt seed at the end of the season and they are experimenting with
them using Florida Bags. 8 bags were planted in front of the Little River location.
The Water Quality Technician is in the final hiring stages and should be finalized after the first of the
year.
Mr. Cook asked what type of feedback was given by the ARC after being here for the season and what
their goals are moving forward. Ms. Fisher stated that they are looking for a nursery setting and want to
do something in Town. She thinks that Hamblin Pond would be ideal and she would like them to put the
FLUPSY back in that location. Ms. Fisher said it would have to be a benefit to the Town for them to
come here.
Ms. Fisher stated that the aquaculture reports have been sent out to all of the growers in Town and they
are due on January 1, 2023. The incoming Constable will be assessing for production value for the first
year of those grants.
ADJOURNMENT
A motion to adjourn was made by Mr. Christensen.
Motion seconded by Mr. Holmes.
Motion was passed by unanimous consent.
Meeting adjourned at 7:45pm.
Respectfully Submitted,
Susan Donovan
Board Secretary
