Town of Mashpee <br /> Planning Board <br /> Minutes of Meeting <br /> July 16, 2008 <br /> The Town of Mashpee Planning Board Meeting was called to order in Conference <br /> Room#1, Mashpee Town Hall, 16 Great Neck Road North, Mashpee, Massachusetts at <br /> 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday, July 16,2008. The Chairman,Beverly Kane, presided. <br /> Planning Board Members present: Dennis Balzarini,Vice-Chairman; Beverly <br /> Kane, Chairman; James Leonard; Joseph Mullin (6:15 p.m.); and Thomas O'Hara. <br /> Also present: F. Thomas Fudala,Town Planner; Thomas Mayo, GIS Coordinator; <br /> and Charles Rowley,Consulting Engineer. <br /> Cape Cod Commission Staff- Paul Niedzwiecki; Heather McElroy. <br /> A quorum being present the Chairman called the Meeting to order and addressed <br /> the first order of business. <br /> Approval of Minutes <br /> May 21,2008 <br /> MOTION. Dennis Balzarini made a Motion to approve the Minutes,of the May <br /> 21, 2008 Planning Board Meeting as submitted; which Motion was duly seconded by <br /> Thomas,O'Hara and so voted unanimously. <br /> Discussion <br /> Douglas Storrs—Mashpee Commons Limited Partnership <br /> Proposed Development Agreement <br /> The Chairman called this matter to order and recognized Douglas Storrs, Mashpee <br /> Commons. <br /> The Chairman then requested that Mr. Storrs update the Board on meetings that <br /> have taken place since the last Planning Board Meeting. <br /> Mr. Storrs reported that the Cape Cod Commission has requested that the <br /> Neighborhood map be reviewed; there have been discussions regarding wastewater, <br /> traffic, and open space/natural resources. <br /> North Market Street—The plan has always been to tie the road into Frank Hicks <br /> Road in order to avoid further curb cuts. A number of road configurations have been <br /> considered. There is also the potential of using the topography to dictate the construction <br /> of buildings and entrances (two-story) at different levels. <br /> 1 <br />
