A discussion was had regarding ancient ways and accessibility to the water. Mr. Pocknett expressed that <br /> it's in the best interest of the Tribe and the Town to keep this subject moving forward. He said that it's a. <br /> tough issue for the Tribe right now. <br /> NEW BUSINESS: <br /> 1. Shellfish Constable's Report. <br /> Mr. Avis reported that 3 vessels underwent significant damage repair as well as maintenance. He stated <br /> that all 3 vessels are now back in service. <br /> Mr. Avis stated that due to the fluctuation in temperatures,there is a significant amount of stressed <br /> oysters. A load was pulled recently where most of them were either dead or dying. He said he wants to <br /> get word out that if the oysters are opened, don't take them. <br /> Mr. Avis went on to report that they continue work on Thatch Island.
