Health Agent <br /> Mr. Virgilio brought the April 21, 2022 Board of Health meeting to order at 6:OOPM. <br /> OLD BUSINESS <br /> 1. Discussion of Comprehensive Nutrient Management Strategy and Proposed I/A <br /> Regulation. This item is continued until the Chair is present. <br /> 2. Review and Approval of Sewer Connection Regulation. This item is continued until the <br /> Chair is present. <br /> 3. COVID-19 Update <br /> Mr. Harrington commented as of April 21, 2022, the following actions are completed or <br /> ongoing: <br /> Monitored epidemiological data from the MA Department of Public Health and <br /> Barnstable County Department of Health & Environment. Participated in bi-weekly DPH <br /> Inter-Agency LBOH webinars and bi-weekly conference calls with the Cape Cod Health <br /> Agents' Coalition. Provided updated case numbers to the public safety answering point <br /> and the Town Manager's Office. Maintained open communication with the School Nurse <br /> Coordinator regarding new cases and trends. Provided testing, isolation, quarantine <br /> guidance to Town employees who either test positive, are close contacts or are <br /> experiencing COVID-like symptoms. Maintained open lines of communication with <br /> administrators at congregate care facilities regarding cases among residents and staff, <br /> and addressed a recent cluster at a local facility. Continued to respond to inquiries from <br /> the public about isolation/quarantine requirements, travel advisories, and where to get <br /> tested. Maintained the Town website COVID-19 page. Participated in a recent COVID- <br /> Response Lessons Learned Conference that was facilitated by the County Health <br /> Department. Provided support to a local childcare facility that had an issue with enforcing <br /> the COVID guidance <br /> The Town currently has 11 confirmed cases in isolation. <br />
