<br />The Committee is looking to compile a Chapter 91 dock comprehensive list. Ms. Fisher <br />indicated that a PhD student will be looking at this and that there needs to be background <br />material to work with. The hope is to supply this next month. <br /> <br />Ancient Ways to Water: <br /> <br />Mashpee Wampanoag Tribe and Town Planner action plan. The area of concern for private <br />properties right issue and rights of access. Mr. Lehrer will follow up with the Tribe to show <br />pictures, writing, documentation, etc. Mr. Cook noted that this will be challenging to deal with, <br />including parking. <br /> <br />Additional Items <br /> <br />Mr. Cook raised the issue of water quality as the number one issue. This dovetails with the <br />waterway and testing. There will be water testing in Trout Pond. (On Simone’s radar). <br />It was noted that the Cape Cod Commission with the Freshwater Initiative is moving to test <br />more. DNR is seeking to get volunteers trained to do so. This will be done year after year <br />testing little ponds as well pushed for. <br /> <br />These ponds are all feeders to the harbor. The testing of the ponds will be included in the <br />process. <br /> <br />Another topic raised was the waste pump out. It was noted that a pump boat was needed for the <br />two water ways.
