<br /> <br />Ms. Fisher stated she would talk to New Seabury prior to the next meeting. <br /> <br />Stakeholder Meetings <br /> <br />The goal is to prepare a list of interest groups and come up with a schedule to meet. This will <br />be done over the 2-year period. <br /> <br />\[Shellfish, fisheries, boating (water ways), boating and navigation, scientific community <br />(WHOI), other municipalities, engineers, et cetera.\] <br /> <br />Mr. Cook asked if this was jumping the gun in having a public meeting without meeting with <br />stakeholders first. Ms. Fisher explained that the public meetings will be an overview only. In <br />addition, there will be advertisements for each stakeholder group. <br /> <br />It was noted that the stakeholders come from an area of bias. Based on this, there will be <br />separate meetings for each group. For example, shellfish groups have very specific concerns. <br />Ms. Fisher noted that the Mashpee Wampanoag Tribe might also have different concerns as <br />well. <br /> <br />The goal for the next meeting is to have a list made out. (To be added to) <br /> <br />New Business <br />Individual Meetings with Committee Members <br />UHI will be reaching out to Members to interview them for their area of expertise. <br /> <br />Public Meeting #1 <br /> <br />Ms. Fisher asked that the members review and go over the document prepared that was handed <br />out. Ms. Fisher asked to note topics that stand out. The goal is to condense it down. <br /> <br />NOI – 2 year timeline has begun <br /> <br />Ms. Fisher noted there was two years to get in much as can. The more engagement that can be <br />done the better. Ms. Fisher asked that members participate when they could. Ms. Fisher noted <br />that there may be a need for other boards to come in to participate as well. <br /> <br />Woods Hole Group <br /> <br />Sediment sampling – Ockway Bay <br /> <br />The Woods Hole Group will be doing sediment sampling next week regarding potential <br />dredging. The new technology from Barnstable County will be key in facilitating this. The <br />idea is to look at the dredging needs of the Town. <br /> <br />Ch.91 Permitted Docks: <br /> <br />This is an action item for the Conservation Agent and Harbormaster to Review <br /> <br />
