Minutes Mashpee Waterways Commission <br /> Mashpee Town Hall <br /> 16 Great Neck Road North <br /> Mashpee, MA 02649 <br /> Date: 1111/2023 <br /> Chairman Steve Mone convened the meeting at 7:OOpm in the Popponesset Meeting Room <br /> Attendees:Tim Leedham, Dick Noonan, Gregg Fraser, Steve Mone. <br /> Also present:Ashley Fisher, Robert Tomaino <br /> Absent: Ken Bates <br /> Public Attendees: Ron Marchessault, Rick Santangelo, Perry Ellis, Emir Smaykiewicz,Ted <br /> Barnicle, Jaime Pacheco and Paul Cononi <br /> Minutes: <br /> The Following minutes were approved:The regular session of Wednesday 12/14/2022 <br /> Motion to Approve: Greg Fraser. Seconded Steve Mone. Unanimously approved by all those <br /> present. <br /> Anoointrnents&He_adngsArytormation Sessions: <br /> - Steve Mone introduced both Rick Santangelo and Ron Marchessault as candidates for the <br /> two open positions on the Commission. Open interviews commenced <br /> - Rick began began by reviewing his background which consisted of serving as a Mashpee <br /> Police Officer and part time Mashpee Assistant Harbormaster and Shellfish Warden. He is a <br /> current resident of Mashpee residing in New Seabury.A questions&answer period was <br /> moderated by Steve with the members of the Commission. <br /> - Ron followed with a review of his background highlighting that he has been coming to <br /> Mashpee since 1959 and moved to Mashpee permanently 5 years ago and resides in New <br /> Seabury. He fishes and enjoys all Mashpee salt water bodies. Ron is employed in the <br /> Insurance industry in Boston. A questions &answer period was moderated by Steve with the <br /> members of the Commission. <br /> - Following the interviews Gregg Fraser made a motion that we approve both candidates and <br /> send our recommendations to the Select Board.This motion was seconded by Tim <br /> Leedham and unanimously approved by all present. <br /> Communications&Correspgndence- <br /> - Steve Mone notified all present that he had received a notice from the Town reminding us that <br /> all Warrants for the May 1,2023 Town Meeting had to be submitted to the Office of the Select <br /> Board no later than close of business on Monday, February 13, 2023. <br />
