MASHPEE ZONING BOARD OF APPEALS <br /> MEETING MINUTES <br /> JULY 12, 2023 <br /> Ms. Sangeleer made a motion to close public comment. Mr. Blaisdell seconded.All were in favor <br /> to close the public comments. <br /> Ms. Sangeleer made a motion that the Board accept this project to be considered a minor <br /> modification. Mr. Caggiano, seconded,yes, Mr. Blaisdell, yes,Mr. Furbush, yes,Ms. Sangeleer, <br /> yes, and Mr. Bonvie,yes. All were in favor to accept this request as a minor modification. <br /> A grove Meetin Minutes dated June 14 2023 and June 28 2023 <br /> Ms. Sangeleer made a motion to approve the meeting minutes. Mr. Reidy seconded. All were in <br /> favor. <br /> Board to interview candidates for A ointment b the Select Board to serve as a full <br /> votin member of the Zonin Board of A eals. Interviews will be held for candidates <br /> in alphabetical order bv their last names and will vote an the recommendation to be <br /> made to the Select Board. <br /> Chairman Bonvie asked Mr. Ganzenmuller if he would like to be considered a full Board <br /> member. Mr. Ganzenmuller addressed the Board and he would like to be considered an acting <br /> member. He believes that he would be able to attend as many meetings as possible, and he will <br /> continue to learn. He plans to stay as long as possible. Mr. Reidy and Mr. Caggiano agree that <br /> he will be a good candidate. <br /> Ms. Sangeleer was interviewed. She has been an Associate Member since the fall of 2017, and <br /> enjoys working with the Community. She has a degree that qualifies her to be a City Planner. <br /> She has some knowledge of GIS and demographics. She believes that she has the ability to make <br /> specific motions. <br /> Mr. Furbush commented that Sharon takes an active role for the Board as everyone does. Mr. <br /> Reidy enjoys working with Sharon and is highly recommended. Mr. Blaisdell agreed. <br /> Mr. Robert Caggiano was interviewed and believes that he can assist the Board with his unbiased <br /> opinions. He believes he can become a long-term member. <br /> Mr. Reidy was interviewed and said he is enjoying working with the Board. As an Attorney he <br /> has learned a lot about zoning, and working with this Board he believes there's a good sense of <br /> community. His thought is that if there are two people living side by side, both of those people <br /> have rights. Sometimes those rights interfere with each other,but ultimately if they cannot decide <br /> it has to come before the Zoning Board. The Board has to be partial but comply with the bylaws <br /> of the Town and to make sure that those people understand. It doesn't mean that the Board can <br /> make everyone happy, or correct all the things in the Town, but the job of the Board is to follow <br /> the bylaws of the Town, and he believes that is what the Board has been doing since he has been <br /> an Associate Member, and enjoys it. He can be available as long as he is here. He will serve as <br /> an Associate or as a Full Member whatever the Board needs. <br /> 12 <br />
