MASHPEE ZONING BOARD OF APPEALS <br /> MEETING MINUTES <br /> JULY 12, 2023 <br /> Mr. Furbush asked for a motion to close the public comments. Mr. Reidy made a motion to close <br /> the public comments. Mr. Ganzemnuller, seconded. All were in favor to close the public <br /> comments. <br /> Mr. Reidy made a motion that the Board issue a Modification to Owners, Hans E. and Sarah J. <br /> Brings request for a Modification to the existing Special Permits (FINDING-2021-29 and <br /> MODIFICATION-2022-49), under §174-24 (C) (9) (a) of the Zoning Bylaws to eliminate <br /> condition line item 5 and allow the upstairs room to be finished and heated on property located in <br /> an R-3 Zoning District,and the Popponesset Overlay District, Map 118 Parcel 111,Mashpee,MA <br /> with the following conditions: <br /> 1. Conditioned on the Board of Health comments, "Finished storage cannot be used for <br /> Human Habitation(sleeping) no plumbing can be added. To remain 4 bedroom". <br /> 2. Conditioned on all other Town Department comments read into the record including but <br /> not limited to the Board of Health comments on said property. <br /> Mr. Ganzenmuller, seconded, yes <br /> Mr. Reidy, yes, <br /> Mr. Caggiano, yes, <br /> Mr. Blaisdell, yes <br /> Mr. Furbush, no. <br /> The Board voted 4 to 1 in favor of removal of the conditions Line Item 5 and Line Item 7. <br /> 164 Captains Row: Owners, Mark L. and Robin R. Galante request a Written Finding under <br /> §174-17 and §174-33 of the Zoning Bylaws to allow for an addition,alteration, extension to a pre- <br /> existing, non-conforming single family dwelling on property located in an R-3 Zoning District, <br /> Map 96 Parcel 28, Mashpee, MA. Board to accept letter from Attorney requesting to continue <br /> this hearing until July 26, 2023. <br /> Sitting on this hearing are the three regular Board members, and Associate Members, Sharon <br /> Sangeleer, and Brad Pittsley. <br /> Attorney Christopher Kirrane requested a continuance of this hearing until July 26, 2023. The <br /> applicant is making changes to the plan and actually downsizing than what was originally <br /> proposed. <br /> Ms. Sangeleer read a letter dated July 7, 2023 from Attorney Kirrane requesting a continuance. <br /> Ms. Sangeleer made a motion to accept the continuance from Attorney Kirrane until July 26,2023. <br /> Mr. Pittsley seconded. All were in favor to continue the hearing for 164 Captains Row. <br /> 6 <br />
