<br />6:12 Mashpee Wampanoag Tribe, Natural Resources, Waterbody of Commonwealth of NOI <br />Massachusetts, Popponesset Bay. Proposed aquaculture farm. Representative: Self <br /> <br /> (Owner of Record: Commonwealth of Massachusetts). <br /> <br />Ms. Clapprood sought a clarification on how this was going to be different. Mr. McManus <br />clarified this application is for a full-blown aquaculture operation on not just for seeding. The <br />use of the area is for expansion using cages. Mr. McManus noted there are other existing <br />aquaculture farms in town. Mr. Colombo asked about distance from proposed dredging of <br />channel. Mr. McManus noted it was several hundred feet. <br /> <br />\[Although there is no DEP number, the Commission will vote with the condition of being DEP <br />being obtained prior\] <br /> <br />Mr. Cook made a motion to close and issue with the following conditions: Any and all <br />conditions from MA Division of Marine Fisheries shall be incorporated into the local order of <br />conditions. Any gear that becomes storm born debris must be safely retrieved by the <br />operators of the grant at the earliest possible opportunity. The grant boundaries must be <br />demarcated by buoys for navigational purposes as per Harbor Master direction. Representative: Cape & Islands Engineering, Inc. (continued from 4/20/23 & <br />5/4/23 & 6/15). <br /> <br />The applicant made a request for a continuance to meet ZBA requests.
