[Agenda topic 31 Wastewater Treatment <br /> Discussion: The Sewer Commission and the Select Board met July 171h and listened to a presentation on <br /> the sewer plan A plan update is due to the State yearly. It is also necessary to let the State know about <br /> plans in order to get increased finding. The application for funding should be in by August 11 th. Then it <br /> needs approval by Town meeting members. The Select Board voted unanimously for options 1-4 and <br /> option 9 which includes the Lakewood Development and land between Mashpee and Santuit Ponds <br /> ............................. <br /> Conclusion: It appears that the Select Board and Sewer Commission are looking to include connections to <br /> the Wastewater plant for people living near Santuit Pond and the east side of Mashpee Pond providing <br /> applications get in in a timely fashion and Town Meeting members approve. <br /> {Agenda topic 41 Reorganization of MWLMC <br /> Discussion: It was voted 3 to 0 to keep the officers the same for another year. Debi McManus will <br /> continue as Chain-nans with Paul. Bibo as Vice Chair. Barbara Nichols will remain as Secretary. <br /> ..........................-..................................... ------------------- <br /> Conclusion: The officers will remain the same. <br /> ............ ...... <br /> {Agenda topic 5) Fireworks and Noise at Attaquin Beach <br /> Discussion: Loud fireworks, music and noise has again become a problem at Attaquin Beach, Barbara <br /> spoke with Captain Rose on July 18"' and he said he had only received I complaint. The noise was worse <br /> on the weekend leading up to the fourth but continues until the 21". In discussing with others, it became <br /> apparent that people, although bothered by the extreme noise, fear retribution if they complain to the <br /> police.
