<br />Wyman-Colombo expressed a desire for two tables per a topic noting that there was crowding <br />around and difficulties hearing people at the library. Ms. Fisher concurred noted that there <br />could be two facilitators. Several members noted that boating and navigation would be a big <br />topic. Several members and Ms. Novelly noted it would be good to have coffee, water and <br />cookies given the 4 O’clock meeting time. In response to Mr. Noonan, Ms. Fisher noted that <br />the cost would be met. Ms. Novelly listed the topics as follows: Boating and Navigation, <br />Natural Resources/ Water Quality, Public Access, Fishing/Shell Fishing, and Erosion/ Coastal <br />Flooding. Ms. Fisher indicated that there should be two tables for Boating and Navigation and <br />Natural Resources/ Water Quality. The others could be one table. Regarding dredging plans, <br />Mr. Tomaino indicated he would bring those as well as navigation charts. Regarding being <br />available, all members indicated that would be present. Regarding seating, Ms. Uiterwyk <br />indicated there should be rows in front of the screen and the tables will be away from the screen <br />about 100 chairs. Ms. Novelly indicated that there will be greeting table with sign in and name <br />tags. Ms. Wyman-Colombo also suggested that there should be a timer at the tables. <br />Regarding sound, Mr. Noonan noted that the microphone was “spotty,” but he could test them. <br />Ms. Fisher stated that there was a portable PA that could be borrowed from Mashpee TV as <br />th <br />well. Mr. Noonan stated that a reminder should be sent out based the current list: After the 4 <br />and the day before. <br /> <br />Stakeholder Meetings <br /> <br /> Preparations /Scheduling – <br />Regarding outreach to Environmental Justice Community, Ms. Fisher noted that there was a <br />flyer to Tribal members and that there could be advertisement at Mashpee Village. Mr. <br />Lehrer noted the areas between Old Barnstable Road and Meeting House Road extending to <br />Main Street west of Mashpee Commons as part of that community. Ms. Fisher noted that <br />Mashpee has a community center where there could be popup outreach. <br /> <br />Ms. Fisher heard from Mr. Oakley who indicated he would like to have a joint meeting with <br />Tribe Natural Resource Commission which could be held at the Government Center. Ms. <br />Noonan asked about stakeholder meetings for New Seabury. Ms. Novelly indicated that <br />late August/early September would be desirable for those. Mr. Noonan stated that the focus <br />group would be focused on dredging and water quality. <br /> <br />Ms. Fisher needs a list and wants the stakeholder meetings scheduled on the calendar. Ms. <br />Fisher noted her office could put together a list which could be added to if anyone was left <br />out. A draft schedule will be presented at the next meeting. <br /> <br />Individual Meetings with Committee Members <br /> <br /> Ms. Fisher noted these are underway with Mr. Tomaino and Mr. Lehrer already <br />completed. Ms. Uiterwyk indicated that they had also spoken to Mr. Oakley. In <br />addition to Committee Members, Ms. Uiterwyk indicated that UHI would like to speak <br />to the Board of Health, Town Manager, Recreation Department, surrounding Natural <br />Resources Directors (Nina Coleman – Barnstable and Frank Frazier – Falmouth). <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />
