Pown (#"Alashpce <br /> xassu;p z" )J(4si[lov, Ul',"'tiatt°1r.u:cUs 02fa49 <br /> Minutes of Meeting of <br /> Design Review Committee <br /> Tuesday, April 6, 2021 <br /> Mashpee Town Hall Waquoit Meeting Room <br /> Design Review Committee Members Present: David Morris, Jonathan Furbush, <br /> and Joe Callahan. <br /> Dave called the meeting to order at 8:35 am as a virtual/remote meeting. <br /> NEW HEARINGS <br /> 8:30 am Project Address: 74 Algonquin Ave. <br /> Business Name: Chapman Funerals & Cremations <br /> Owner/Agent: David Chapman <br /> Sign Company: Shelly Gutierrez with Locust Street Sign Co. <br /> Request: Replace existing 54" x 90" = 33.75 sq. ft. sign, with a <br /> New 30" x 94" = 19.90 sq. ft. sign in the same location. <br /> Mike McGowan, Principal of Locust Street Sign represented the application. He <br /> said that the finalization for the base of the sign was not confirmed. The sign will <br /> include a natural stone fagade with stone at the concreate base, and a blue stone <br /> cap. The color of the lettering is a medium blue, with a wave symbol. The sign will <br /> be lit with LED lighting from within. It has an opaque cabinet with the lettering <br /> covered in a blue translucent material. The light will exit the cabinet through the <br /> letters only. The rest of the sign is opaque, and during day light hours it will look <br /> more like a traditional cabinet with the blue letters. During the night time hours, the <br /> light will exit through the lettering, and will form a halo effect at the base of the <br /> letters. The sign will be located in the same location as the old sign, and will not <br /> be going any closer to the street. <br /> There were no more questions. <br /> Joe made a motion to accept the sign for 74 Algonquin Ave, Chapman Funeral <br /> Home as presented. Jon seconded, yes, Dave, yes, and Joe yes. All were in favor. <br /> 8:45 am Project Address: 0 Country Club Lane <br /> Business Name: Prime Homes Realty <br /> Owner/Agent: Ken Marsters <br /> Request: Propose to construct a 55 sq. ft. development sign for <br /> Country Club Estates (no building). <br /> 1 <br />
