Minutes of Meeting of <br /> Design Review Committee <br /> Tuesday, April 6, 2021 <br /> Mashpee Town Hall Waquoit Meeting Room <br /> Ken Marsters, Principal represented the application. Ken said that the sign is located <br /> at the entrance that he considered somewhat dangerous, so he wanted to install a <br /> 61 ft. encasement of granite. He wants it perpendicular to the road. The sign is <br /> identical in scope and size to the sign at the entrance of New Seabury. There will be <br /> a 4 ft. gray stone wall and will place the sign on top. There will be plantings around <br /> the sign, with a couple of trees. There will be lights installed on either side of that will <br /> be pointed toward the sign. <br /> Jonathan asked if it was a two sided sign. Ken said; yes. Jonathan asked Ken if he <br /> had a conversation with New Seabury because it looks exactly like their sign. Ken <br /> said, he did not. <br /> Dave said that this sign is oversized and will require a ZBA application. Ken was <br /> aware of that. <br /> There were no more comments. There was a discussion regarding the sign being <br /> similar to New Seabury's sign, and if permission was required by New Seabury. <br /> Joe made a motion to approve the sign at Country Club Estates as presented. <br /> Jonathan second, yes, Dave, yes, and Joe yes. <br /> Other Business <br /> Vote to accept Tyler Gaudreau, Landscape Architect to join the Design Review <br /> Committee. <br /> Dave read an email from Tyler dated Tuesday, January 12, 2021 who is interested <br /> in joining the Design Review committee. <br /> After reviewing Tyler Gaudreau's application to join the Design Review Committee, <br /> Jonathan made a motion to accept his application. Joe seconded, yes, Dave, yes, <br /> and Jonathan, yes. All were in favor. <br /> Approve March 16, 2021 Meeting Minutes. <br /> Jonathan made a motion to accept the minutes of March 16, 2021. Joe seconded, <br /> yes, Dave, yes, and Jonathan, yes. All were in favor. <br /> Jonathan made a motion to adjourn. All were in favor to adjourn.
