Minutes of Meeting <br /> Design Review Committee <br /> Tuesday, February 21, 2023 <br /> Mashpee Town Hall Waquoit Meeting Room <br /> Mr. Furbush asked if there will be enough parking during holiday seasons. Mr. Eddy said the <br /> zoning requirement is two parking spaces per unit. Mr. McElhaney said that each unit has <br /> dedicated parking, and there is enough parking to accommodate overflow. <br /> The Committee reviewed the building plans depicted on Sheet A-111. The units are single <br /> family and share a garage. There's a firewall between each bay. The driveway is <br /> approximately 50-60 ft. long to accommodate two vehicles. There will be a Cape Cod berm <br /> installed along the paved road. There will be a seashell shoulder along the road to assist with <br /> pedestrian movement and golf cart access. The application submitted to the Planning Board <br /> will include the drainage and storm water management system with catch basins and <br /> vegetative buffer strips. <br /> Mr. Morris asked if Willowbend owns these units. Mr. McElhaney said yes. This is under the <br /> Planning Board Special Permit that have several modifications. <br /> Mr. Gaudreau asked if there will be additional parking provided in the area of the seashell <br /> shoulder that's dedicated parking. Mr. Eddy said yes. Mr. Gaudreau asked if there will be a <br /> sign and landscaping at the entrance. Mr. Ring said yes, there will be a comprehensive <br /> landscaping plan and a dedicated sign at the entrance. Mr. Gaudreau asked if there is any <br /> access connection from the proposed cart path to the gate house. Mr. Eddy said yes, the <br /> existing cart path does connect with the main house. <br /> Mr. Furbush asked if there will be a sign dedicated for this new development. Mr. McElhaney <br /> The development will be called Cranberry Point but has not been finalized or approved yet. <br /> There was no more discussion. <br /> Mr. Furbush made a motion to accept the project at 275 Quinaquisset as presented. Mr. <br /> Gaudreau second. All were in favor. <br /> OTHER BUSINESS <br /> Approve December 6, 2022 and January 17, 2023 meeting minutes. <br /> Mr. Furbush made a motion to approve both meeting minutes. Mr. Gaudreau second.
