is moving forward and conditions have remained stable, thus no enforcement
measures are necessary. Commissioners agreed.
o 2022 Meeting Calendar
Calendar need to be submitted to Town Clerk for review so we can approve at
a future meeting.
o Potential Donation: 13 Forest Street
The landowner contacted us asking how to donate property to Conservation.
We will assess the property and research what the procedure to donate is.
o 140 Popponessett Island Rd-mitigation plan
Raul Lizardi from Cape and Islands Engineering was present to answer any
questions from the Commission. Agent said we investigated the lawn seed mix,
and was satisfied with the composition of the lawn. Planting species list looks
good. This is a good compromise and I recommend this be the official
mitigation plan on record. Ms. Zollo asked how they calculated the square
footage of plantings, Agent said it was a recommendation. They cut down
about 6 trees and are planting 6 trees and 6 shrubs. We’re relying on GIS
footage, the evidence. There’s nothing to vote on, it’s just to inform commission
of the plans.

Updates:
o Childs River restoration
Plantings completed at Garner bogs and will be opened to Public soon.
o Red Brook Road culvert
Grant applications were submitted, haven’t heard back yet.
o Upper Quashnet restoration
No updates.
o Bylaw Review subcommittee
Will resume after holiday season.
o Johns Pond Milfoil
Post survey report showed eradication was substantially successful. Follow up
Survey will take place in the Spring of 2022.
o Chop Chaque Bog
HW completed conceptual design, In Lieu Fee will draft long term management
Plans. Waiting to hear from Army Corps about funding.

ADDITIONAL TOPICS:
(This space is reserved for topics that the Chairman did not reasonably anticipate would
be discussed).

Ms. Zollo asked about action items for the joint meeting. Agent said we can’t discuss
as a quorum unless it’s a public meeting. Ms. Zollo asked about a subcommittee.
Agent said we can schedule a meeting and notify the public if there’s a quorum.
Mr. Weeden said we should have more discussions about what the Commission can
do to assist the Department more.

ADJOURNMENT

Mr. Weeden motioned to adjourn.
Ms. Zollo seconded the motion.
