BOARD OF HEALTH - PUBLIC SESSION Mashpee Town Hall — WAQUOIT MEETING ROOM Minutes of the Meeting of October 20, 2022 Board Members Present: Also Present: Brian Baumgaertel, Chair Zackary Seabury, Health Agent Ernest Virgilio, Vice -Chair Christine Willander, Asst. Health Agent Chair Baumgaertel called the November 3, 2022 Board of Health meeting to order at 6:10 PM. 6:15 PM APPOINTMENT 19 CAPTAIN'S ROW OLD BUSINESS: 1. COVID update: Currently 12.3% positive rate; today was the 11 flu vaccine clinic which included Covid vaccine. 365 covid and flu vaccines were given, for a total of 263 people vaccinated. Had quite a few walk-ins. Nurses had to get more moderna since they ran out. a. Next clinic is November 3, 2022 3:00-6:00 covid and flu shots. NEW BUSINESS: 1. Review and approval of meeting minutes for May 19, 2022 Regular session The minutes for the May 19, 2022 meeting were unanimously approved with Ernest Virgilio making the motion to accept the minutes as provided with Brian Baumgaertel seconding. Roll Call Vote: Ernest Virgilio (yes), Brian Baumgaertel (yes) VOTE: unanimous (2-0) 2. Review and approval of Expense Warrants No Warrants to be approved 3. 19 Captain's Row On June 12, 2021, Sean McElroy, registered septic inspector, did a Title 5 inspection at 19 Captains Row. During the inspection Mr. Mcllroy noted that the septic tank and the distribution box were both 4 feet below the surface and are not H2O. Alberto Goncalves is here to dispute the claim stating that the plans that we have on file do show that H2O was installed. Installation was done in 1995 by Cavossa; engineering by Town Cape and Islands Engineering. Mr. Goncalves brought the receipt that he had that shows that the septic was in compliance. And the plans by Cape and Islands that shows as well. Alberto Goncalves, stated his name for the record. Mr. Seabury questions if this was done before Title 5 was released in 1995 and this show January 6,1995. The plans do state they required H2O; nothing for the distribution box though.
