Protect. <br />BOARD OF HEALTH - PUBLIC SESSION <br />Mashpee Town Hall — WAQUOIT MEETING ROOM <br />Minutes of the Meeting of October 20, 2022 <br />Board Members Present: Also Present: <br />Brian Baumgaertel, Chair Zackary Seabury, Health Agent <br />Ernest Virgilio, Vice -Chair Christine Willander, Asst. Health Agent <br />Chair Baumgaertel called the November 3, 2022 Board of Health meeting to order at 6:10 PM. <br />6:15 PM APPOINTMENT 19 CAPTAIN'S ROW <br />OLD BUSINESS: <br />1. COVID update: Currently 12.3% positive rate; today was the 11 flu vaccine clinic which included <br />Covid vaccine. 365 covid and flu vaccines were given, for a total of 263 people vaccinated. Had <br />quite a few walk-ins. Nurses had to get more moderna since they ran out. <br />a. Next clinic is November 3, 2022 3:00-6:00 covid and flu shots. <br />NEW BUSINESS: <br />1. Review and approval of meeting minutes for May 19, 2022 Regular session <br />The minutes for the May 19, 2022 meeting were unanimously approved with Ernest Virgilio <br />making the motion to accept the minutes as provided with Brian Baumgaertel seconding. <br />Roll Call Vote: Ernest Virgilio (yes), Brian Baumgaertel (yes) VOTE: unanimous (2-0) <br />2. Review and approval of Expense Warrants <br />No Warrants to be approved <br />3. 19 Captain's Row <br />On June 12, 2021, Sean McElroy, registered septic inspector, did a Title 5 inspection at 19 Captains <br />Row. During the inspection Mr. Mcllroy noted that the septic tank and the distribution box were <br />both 4 feet below the surface and are not H2O. Alberto Goncalves is here to dispute the claim <br />stating that the plans that we have on file do show that H2O was installed. Installation was done <br />in 1995 by Cavossa; engineering by Town Cape and Islands Engineering. Mr. Goncalves brought <br />the receipt that he had that shows that the septic was in compliance. And the plans by Cape and <br />Islands that shows as well. Alberto Goncalves, stated his name for the record. Mr. Seabury <br />questions if this was done before Title 5 was released in 1995 and this show January 6,1995. The <br />plans do state they required H2O; nothing for the distribution box though. <br />
