Health Agent <br />Chair Baumgaertel called the November 17, 2022 Board of Health meeting to order at 4:30 PM. <br />OLD BUSINESS: <br />1. 20 Bearse Road Mr. Seabury commented that a design plan has been submitted to repair <br />the failed septic system at 20 Bearse Variance. The system failed by regulation due to <br />the fact it is a Cesspool. The proposed design plan includes a 1500 gallon septic tank, <br />with an H-20 Distribtion box to a 24'x12' leaching field consisting of Cultec C-41­11) units <br />over a Biaxial Geogrid. The variance request is for a 6' variance from the S.A.S. to the <br />foundation wall allowing for a 14' setback and a request fat a 1' foot reduction to the <br />required separation between the maximum seasonal high groundwater and bottom of <br />the S.A.S. for 4' of separation. The Meeting of October 20t" 2022 the Board denied the <br />variance. <br />2. <br />Mr. Seabury continued that a new submittal to replace 24'x12; Cultec C-4HD units with 30'x14' <br />Presby Enviro-septic piping, and asking for the variances as follows: <br />1. 14' setback to the foundation from the 20' requirement in 310 CMR (with a poly liner) <br />2. 2' reduction from the adjusted groundwater and the bottom of the S.A.S to 3' from the 5' <br />requirement in 310 CMR. <br />There being no further comments or discussion Ernest Virgilio motioned to approve the <br />following title 5 variances for 20 Bearse Road. 1. 14 foot setback from the 20 foot <br />requirement to foundation 2. 2.2 foot reduction from the adjusted groundwater and <br />bottom of SAS to 3 feet from the 5 foot requirement. Brian Baumgaertel seconded. Roll <br />Call Vote: Ernest Virgilio (yes), Brian Baumgaertel (yes) VOTE: Unanimous (2-0) <br />NEW BUSINESS: <br />1. Review and approval of meeting minutes. There were no meeting minutes to approve. <br />
