Marie Stevenson, Amna Iqbal, Jayden Bryant, Rowela Kent, Dan <br />Kupferman, Mohamad Fahd, Aiman Iqbal, Patricia DeBoer, Richard Klein <br /> <br />Absent: Katie Hennessey, Kim Landry, Rolf Brandt, Gail Wilson, Winnie Johnson-Graham <br /> <br />CALL TO ORDER <br />Chair Stevenson called the meeting of the Mashpee Inclusion and Diversity Committee to <br />order at 5:04p.m. <br /> <br />LAND ACKNOWLEDGEMENT <br />Today we acknowledge this meeting is being held on ancestral lands of the Wampanoag Tribe, <br />also known as People of the first Light. We pay respects to their elders past and present. <br /> <br />APPROVAL OF MINUTES - May 16, 2023 <br />Approval postponed, awaiting quorum. <br /> <br />MEMBER UPDATES <br />Column <br />The next column will discuss Race Amity Day. There were several people in attendance at <br />RAD that Mr. Kupferman would like to follow up with for an interview, an opportunity to tell their <br />story. <br /> <br />Coalition <br />Ms. Stevenson was pleased that different groups from the coalition had tables at RAD, and in <br />turn they were thrilled with the opportunity to be involved. If there is a particular activity or <br />event that someone in the coalition wants to share, she will spread it across the group for <br />involvement and participation. Chairwoman is currently looking to develop a Facebook page as <br />a means to get the information circulating to more people.
