Meetine Called to Order: The regular session meeting was called to order at 5:33 PM by Jill <br /> Allen, Chair. She also announced that the meeting was being recorded by members of the public <br /> as well as the Executive Director. A quorum was declared with the following members present Jill <br /> Allen, Mary LeClair, Lisa Meizinger, Mohamad Fand, and Richard Klein. <br /> 2. Public Comment: Arden Russell of Sturgis Road offered comment on the Office of the Inspector <br /> General Mashpee Housing Authority: Review of Contract with Former Executive Director report <br /> dated February 10, 2023. She expressed concerns of the derelict in fiduciary responsibility, lack <br /> of oversight of the board members, inquired of what measures that the Housing Authority has <br /> taken, requested an audit of the Housing Authority to restore confidence, and wants the faith <br /> restored. Jill Allen, Chair announced that the board will not be responding to comments tonight. <br /> Lynne Barbee of Surf Drive offered comment as well, and expressed she was concerned about the <br /> Inspector General report. She inquired where the $73,000 came from to pay the settlement <br /> agreement, as affordable housing expands wanted true accountability of funding for the Housing <br /> Authority, added she was supportive of public employees getting paid for work they are doing, <br /> and ended with a suggestion of a forensic audit of the Authority going back several decades. <br /> pPPORTUNITY TY <br />
