MCGAC project approved. It will be forwarded by CPC to
Select Board for approval and inclusion in Spring Town Warrant.
Garden beds seasonal closure, clean-ups and gate padlock issues – Ms. Scharfenberg took
extensive notes at the garden about the conditions of the beds and what needs to be done.
Sheryl and Virginia will call three people whose beds still need clean-up.
Wait Lists status for 2022 season– Two Board members have reached out to those on the
wait list; all those to whom they were able to speak confirmed they want to remain on the list,
and the few who did not call back will need to be phoned again.
Current Gardeners will be phoned by a few Board members to confirm their plans to continue
as gardeners and to see if any of them would like to share their 8’ x 12’ plot with someone on
the wait list. That way we could accommodate more than the 14 that our garden expansion
will provide for.
OLD BUSINESS:
Compost bins and maintenance/use/appearance and maintenance of area behind them – to
be discussed further when Lynn Harris can attend (February 2022 meeting).
Update for community garden application forms for 2022 on MCGAC town web site – Forms
on the website are now universal, i.e., no yearly date on them. Ms. Scharfenberg will contact
Terrie Cook to determine which Town Hall office applications and payments should be
submitted to this year. If information on application form needs to be changed we will need
to do so before informing people they are available.
1
