Town of Mashpee <br />16 Great Neck Road North <br />Mashpee, MA 02649 <br />MASHPEE ZONING BOARD OF APPEALS <br />MEETING MINUTES <br />OCTOBER 25, 2023 <br />The Mashpee Zoning Board of Appeals held Public Hearings on Wednesday, October 25, 2023, <br />at 6:00 p.m. in the Waquoit Room at the Mashpee Town Hall, 16 Great Neck Road North. <br />Chairman, Ronald Bonvie, Board Members, Sharon Sangeleer, Jonathan Furbush, Scott <br />Goldstein, Associate Members, George Ganzenmuller, Charles Reidy, and Robert Caggiano. <br />Also present was Building Commissioner, David Morris. <br />Chairman Bonvie opened the meeting at 6:00 pm and announced that the hearings were being <br />televised live on Mashpee TV. He will take comments after each hearing. <br />CONTINUED HEARINGS <br />9 Woodland Avenue: Owners, Richard N. and Theresa G. Monroe request a Written Finding <br />under §174-17 of the Zoning Bylaws to allow for a deck reconstruction, a three season porch <br />addition, and extension over an existing garage to a pre-existing, non -conforming structure on <br />property located an R-5 Zoning District, Map 49 Parcel 98, Mashpee, MA. (Continued from <br />October 11, 2023 hearings). <br />Sitting on this hearing are the four regular Board members, and Associate Member, Robert <br />Caggiano. <br />Mr. Richard Monroe stated that the hearing was postponed because the Board wanted to get <br />clarification regarding the comments submitted by Catherine Laurent, DPW Director. Mr. Monroe <br />had a conversation with Ms. Laurent after the last meeting, and she suggested that drywells be <br />installed for the roof runoff. <br />Ms. Sangeleer read an email from Catherine Laurent, DPW Director dated October 13, 2023 into <br />the record; "As stated in the email from Richard Monroe, he and I spoke yesterday. He is in <br />agreement to install drywells for his roof runoff. " <br />Mr. Goldstein read an email from the Board of Health dated October 24, 2023 into the record; No <br />comment, no increase in habitable space. " <br />Mr. Morris had no comments. There were no comments from the audience. <br />Chairman Bonvie asked for a motion to close the public comments. Mr. Goldstein made a motion <br />to close the public comments. Ms. Sangeleer second. All were in favor to close the public <br />comments. <br />
