Town of j4lazbpee / J <br /> BOARD OF HEALTH <br /> 16 GREAT NECK ROAD NORTH <br /> MASHPEE, MASSACHUSETTS 02649 <br /> (508) 539-1426 * Fax (508)477-0496 b /1 <br /> Hegth <br /> BOARD OF HEALTH - PUBLIC SESSION <br /> Mashpee Town Hall —Wacluoit Meeting Room <br /> 16 Great Neck Road North <br /> Minutes of the Meeting of October 18t" , 2023 <br /> Board Members Present: Members Absent: Also Present: <br /> Ernest Virgilio, Chair John Livingston,Vice-Chair Zackary Seabury, Health Agent <br /> Ed Raposa, Clerk <br /> Quorum of 2 Members Present <br /> Ernest Virgilio, Chair, called the meeting to order at 4:30 pm. <br /> • Review and Approval of Expense Warrants <br /> There were no expense warrants to be approved <br /> • Review and Approval of Meeting Minutes November 17t", 2022, October 6t", 2022, and <br /> October 4t"1 2023. <br /> Mr. Virgilio, as the sole member, approved 11/17/2022 and 10/6/2022. <br /> Mr. Raposa made a motion to approve the 10/4/2023 minutes as presented, which was <br /> seconded by Mr. Virgilio. <br /> Mr. Raposa (Yes), Mr. Virgilio (Yes)— Motion passed unanimously. <br /> • Review of Request of Title 5 Variance—231 Monomoscoy Road, Paul Sparks <br /> Mr. Seabury stated the septic system is already in the ground. The variance is sought <br /> because an extension/addition would bring the system less than 10 feet of the structure. <br /> The distance sought was 5'6" under the variance. Mr. Seabury did not find the variance <br /> problematic and asked if a lining was proposed—Applicant will do so if required. The plan <br /> anticipates a crawl space. Mr. Seabury noted the applicant is proposing no increase in <br /> flow and the application follows procedures — doing the right thing. Mr. Virgilio asked <br /> that the poly liner be included. Mr. Seabury concurred since the system was so close (not <br /> a problem now, but there could be future settling affecting the tank). <br />
