MASHPEE CULTURAL COUNCIL MINUTES <br /> JULY 13, 2023, 10:00 am <br /> Waquoit Meeting Room, Mashpee Town Hall <br /> PRESENT: Wendy Bornstein, Nina Cocomazzi, David Egel, Lee Smith, Andrea <br /> Watson, Janet Wright. Absent: Winnie Graham <br /> Attendee: Pamela Joseph, Candidate for Council membership <br /> CALL TO ORDER <br /> The meeting was called to order by Co-chair, Andrea Watson in the Waquoit <br /> Meeting Room at the Mashpee Town Hall at 10:17 am. A quorum was determined <br /> present. <br /> MOMENT OF SILENCE <br /> A moment of silence was held to remember Mary Alice Stahleker, who served the <br /> Council for many years. <br /> REVIEW CANDIDATES FOR COUNCIL MEMBERSHIP <br /> Pam Joseph was introduced as a candidate for Council Membership. She is an <br /> attorney handling mental health and guardianship cases in probate court. She is <br /> interested in joining the Council to advance cultural activities for the benefit of <br /> Mashpee residents. Her resume was sent to Council members in advance of the <br /> meeting. <br /> Diane Scott, who could not attend today's meeting is interested in becoming a <br /> member of the Council. Diane has volunteered with many organizations on the <br /> Cape, including the Cape Cod Foundation where she reviews high school <br /> applications for scholarship funds. Her resume was sent to Council members in <br /> advance of the meeting. <br />
