MINUTES <br /> A motion was made by Lee Smith and seconded by Wendy Bornstein to approve <br /> the minutes of November 17, 2022. Motion was passed by unanimous consent. <br /> OLD BUSINESS <br /> Role vacancies were discussed. Co-chairperson, Andrea Watson's term ends on <br /> September 30, 2023. The treasurer and secretary roles are also vacant because <br /> Treasurer, Nina Cocomazzi's term is expiring and Secretary, Mary Alice Stahleker <br /> passed away last spring. The following members were appointed to fill the <br /> vacancies: Lee Smith, Chairperson, Wendy Bornstein, Treasurer, and Pam Joseph, <br /> Secretary, after she is appointed to the Council. <br /> NEW BUSINESS <br /> Local Guidelines and Priorities <br /> Local Guidelines and Priorities need to be updated annually by August 31, 2023. <br /> Members of the Council reviewed the Guidelines and Priorities and decided to <br /> remove the first three paragraphs under "Covid-19 Consideration." There is no <br /> longer a need to address alternative methods for arts and cultural groups to <br /> perform because they have been performing in person for the past year after the <br /> CDC announced that Covid-19 was no longer a pandemic. However, applications <br /> for virtual performances will continue to be considered. <br /> After the sentence "the Mashpee Cultural Council maintains a Facebook page," an <br /> email address for Council members will be added.
