Unanimous. <br /> Roll Call Vote: <br /> Selectman Cotton,yes Selectman O'Hara, yes Selectman Sherman, yes <br /> Selectman Weeden, yes Selectman Wyman-Colombo, yes <br /> Mr. Isbitz,yes Mr. McKelvey,yes Mr. Klein,yes <br /> Mr. Cayer, yes Opposed,none <br /> The property is subject to a restrictive covenant that was released by vote of the Planning Board <br /> on the condition it be conveyed to the Town for affordable housing purposes. <br /> Discussion and Apliroval of an Al pra. al and Possible Acquisition of 46 Main wStreet: <br /> Evan Lehrer, Community Development Director presented a new opportunity for affordable <br /> housing located at 46 Main Street,Mashpee. The site, an undersized 45,000 square foot lot is <br /> currently a vacant parcel. <br /> The site is in excess of 1 acre and is similar to the scale of 12 Cypress Circle. The land is not in <br /> a nitrogen sensitive area, and it is suitable for an affordable housing opportunity. <br /> The owner has indicated a desire to offer the property for sale to the Affordable Housing Trust <br /> for the purpose of affordable housing. Mr. Lehrer recommended the Trust move forward to <br /> authorize an appraisal to facilitate negotiations with the property owner. <br /> It was suggested the property be examined to ensure there is no contaminant on site. <br /> Mr. Lehrer was acknowledged with high regard for his due diligence in recognizing and <br /> presenting development opportunities for much needed affordable housing. <br /> Motion made by Mr. McKelvey to authorize a Real Estate Appraisal for 46 Main Street, <br /> Mashpee for a sum not to exceed $5,000. <br /> Motion seconded by Mr. Klein. <br /> VOTE: 9-0.
