Health Agent <br /> Kripani Patel, Clerk Glen Harrington, Health Agent <br /> Vice-Chair Virgilio called the Board of Health meeting to order at 6:02pm <br /> OLD BUSINESS <br /> 1. COVID-19 Update <br /> As of March 31, 2022,the following actions are completed or ongoing: <br /> • Monitored epidemiological data from the MA Department of Public Health and <br /> Barnstable County Department of Health & Environment <br /> • Participated in weekly MAVEN webinars and Inter-Agency LBOH webinars with MA <br /> Department of Public Health, and bi-weekly conference call with the Cape Cod Health <br /> Agents' Coalition <br /> • Provided updated case numbers to the public safety answering point and the Town <br /> Manager's Office <br /> • Maintained the Town website COVID-19 page <br /> • Provided the Town Manager, Assistant Town Manager and all Town Department Heads <br /> with the latest COVID news, information, and resources at the monthly Department <br /> Head meeting <br /> • Communicated weekly with the School Nurse Coordinator regarding new cases and <br /> frequently revised DESE guidance, including revised protocols that shift focus from <br /> contact tracing to monitoring and surveillance <br /> • Provided testing, isolation, quarantine guidance to Town employees who either test <br /> positive, are close contacts or are experiencing COVID-like symptoms <br /> • Maintained open lines of communication with administrators at congregate care <br /> facilities regarding cases among residents and staff <br /> De�:aartment Head COVID-19 Update: 03-31-2022 <br /> • Positivity rate is 3.15%which is below 5%so the virus is considered contained at this time. <br />
