Minutes Mashpee Waterways Commission <br /> Mashpee Town Hall <br /> 16 Great Neck Road North <br /> Mashpee, MA 02649 <br /> Date: 6/14/2023 <br /> Chairman Steve Mone convened the meeting at 6:00pm in the Popponesset Meeting Room <br /> Attendees: Dick Noonan, Steve Mone, Rick Santangelo, Ron Marchessault, Gregg Fraser <br /> Also present:Ashley Fisher, Bob Tomaino, Chris Avis of the DNR <br /> Members of the Public present: John Quinterio and Joe Mendez <br /> Absent: Ken Bates, Tim Leedham <br /> Minutes: <br /> The Following minutes were approved:The regular session of Tuesday January 11, 2023. <br /> Motion to Approve: Dick Noonan, seconded by Steve Mone and unanimously approved by all <br /> Members present. <br /> A wintments&Information ion , <br /> Nothing to report <br /> Communications &Corres <br /> po"denc% <br /> Dick noted that the Commission had received copies of 6 applications for various dock <br /> projects. Harbormaster Tomaino stated that he had received all the application packages and <br /> had reviewed and approved them as no hazard to navigation was present. <br /> This started a conversation as to whether the MWC needed to receive copies of these <br /> applications as we do not act upon them. It was decided that we will continue to receive them <br /> and hold as an extra work copy until the following Commission meeting. If our copies are not <br /> needed following that meeting the Secretary will dispose of. <br /> Old Business: <br /> - Comprehensive 10 Year Permit: Bob Tomaino stated that work has begun to extend. Bob <br /> has identified all relevant expiration dates that we need to consider. Paperwork is <br /> progressing and all is on track and at this point. <br /> - LR/GR Dredge: Bob reported that we have been advised that we will need to take 3 more <br /> core samples due to the modifications we have made to the original plan. The proposal and <br /> cost for the additional samples has been given to the Town Manager for approval. Once <br /> approval is given the samples and and laboratory analysis will proceed. <br />
