IN Minutes Mashpee Waterways Commission Mashpee Town Hall 16 Great Neck Road North Mashpee, MA 02649 Date: 12/13/2023 Chairman Steve Mone convened the meeting at 6:02pm In the Popponesset Meeting Room Attendees: Steve Mone, Gregg Fraser, Tim Leedham, Ron Marchessault and Dick Noonan Also present: Robert Tomaino, Harbormaster and Chris Lucia of Mashpee DNR Absent: Ken Bates, Rick Santangelo Members of the Public present: None minutes: The Following minutes were approved: - The regular session of: 6/14/2023. The Har- bormaster reported that both his office and Conservation have approved. - The Commission also received the approved schedule of Select Board Meetings for 2024. Old Business: Bob Tomaino, Harbormaster, reported on the following projects under his jurisdiction: - 10 Year Comprehensive Permit: Our consultant BSC has finished all field work including Hy- dro and Beach profiles. The data is being processed and plans will be updated. - LR/GR Dredge Project: MEPA application is underway and set up awaiting final survey num- bers. Once that is completed the application will be ready for our review. - Poppy Approach Channel: The County has finished the dredging removing 7,960 cubic yards of sand that all went to beach replenishment on the Poppy Spit. We will do another survey in January 2024 to determine what additional dredging needs to be done and we remwn on the County Dredge schedule for February 2024. - Harbor Management Committee: Nothing to report.
