0 <br />Nw9w, ness: <br />Funding for a new boat trailer: The Harbormaster requested funding for a new trailer for the <br />23' Edgewater patrol boat. This is being purchased from the Boat Guy for $6,000. Motion to <br />approve the transfer of $6,000 from the Waterways Improvement Fund for the purchase was <br />made by Dick Noonan, seconded by Steve Mone and unanimously approved by all those. <br />Funding for the 2024 Poppy Approach Dredge: A request was made by the Harbormaster for <br />$100,000 to fund the 2024 Dredge. A motion to approve the transfer of $100,000 from the <br />Waterways Improvement Fund for the project was made by Steve Mone, seconded by Gregg <br />Fraser and unanimously approved by all present. <br />- The issue for the funding of a new Safe Boat was removed from the agenda by the Harbor- <br />master pending further review by his Office. <br />- General discussion followed about the opportunity for the Harbormaster to look at sources <br />of grant funding through the State for both dredging and permitting. <br />- The Harbormaster also distributed a print out of the YTD Budget report from the Town show- <br />ing spending, encumbrances and current balance. <br />Addffi. n.
