11 <br />Community Preservation Committee <br />Minutes <br />November 9, 2023 <br />LIAISON REPORTS (continued) <br />Historicalµ Cemeteries; A report of the Historical Cemeteries was submitted by liaison Brian <br />Hyde in a memo dated November 9, 2023. As noted, the Lakewood Cemetery is anticipated to <br />be renamed as the Bourne Cemetery to be historically correct. Work is near completion. <br />Remaining is final landscaping and signage. The additional Ancient Burial Grounds project is <br />underway. The correct names will soon go before the Select Board. In addition to Bourne, the <br />names as voted by the Historical Commission are Amos, Avant Combs; Attaquin; and Pocknett. <br />NEXT MEETING <br />Due to a scheduling conflict, it was recommended the December 14, 2023 meeting convene at <br />7:00 p.m. <br />Motion made by Mr. Klein to change the December 14, 2023 meeting time to 7:00 p.m. <br />Motion seconded by Ms. Russell. <br />VOTE: Unanimous. 5-0. <br />Roll Call Vote: <br />Ms. Russell, yes Ms. Waygan, yes Ms. Barbee, yes <br />Mr. Klein, yes Ms. Godfrey, yes Opposed, none <br />Additional Meeting are planned to be scheduled to continue the update of the CPC Plan, to <br />conduct a joint meeting with the Affordable Housing Trust and to conduct a joint meeting with <br />the Select Board to review CPC Articles proposed for the May 2024 Town Meeting Warrant. <br />ADJOURNMENT <br />Motion made by Ms. Russell to adjourn at 8:40 p.m. <br />Motion seconded by Ms. Waygan. <br />VOTE: Unanimous. 5-0. <br />Roll Call Vote: <br />Ms. Russell, yes Ms. Waygan, yes <br />Mr. Klein, yes Ms. Godfrey, yes <br />Enclosures: (T'own Clerk copy) <br />9/27/23 Complainant Letter <br />10/18/22 Town Counsel Memo <br />9/25/23 Open Meeting Law Complaint <br />11/9/23 Memo from CPC Chair <br />10/18/23 OML Appeal Letter <br />10/23/23 Town Manager Response Memo <br />Ms. Barbee, yes <br />Opposed, none <br />Respectfully submitted, <br />Kathleen M.
