10 <br />Community Preservation Committee <br />Minutes <br />November 9, 2023 <br />OLD BUSINESS <br />Review of CPCwFunding History: <br />CPC Member Mary Waygan disseminated an update of the CPC Funding History. The <br />document reflects the list of projects funded by the CPC since its inception is 2005 starting with <br />project funding at the October Town Meeting in 2006. The narrative will compliment the CPC <br />Project Status Report and be posted online for informational purposes. <br />NEW BUSINESS <br />Review of Letters of Interest „for At-large,Membership, Schedule,Interviews: <br />As noted, advertisement to fill the (2) At Large vacancies has been extended to December 7, <br />2023. Currently, three candidates have expressed an interest in serving on the CPC. This <br />includes; Ken Debrowski, Judith MacDougall and Carolyn Szarian. <br />LIAISON REPORTS <br />uashnet School Pladground:w The Quashnet School Playground is moving forward. After <br />discussing the project with the School Principal who was extremely pleased with the new <br />amenity, the project awaits new surfacing. With the upcoming spring vacation and optimum <br />temperatures areas will be resurfaced for safety and protection. Photos are forthcoming. <br />Edward BakerBoatRamn: The bids have been significantly over budget, and it is anticipated a <br />new RFQ would be submitted in the spring. The project is currently in the permitting process. <br />Housing.production Plan:m Evan Lehrer was recognized for his efforts in securing a contribution <br />from the County to conduct the Housing Production Plan. The survey was responsive with over <br />300 persons offering comment. Meetings are ongoing with the Affordable Housing Committee <br />as this project advances forward. <br />950 Falmouth Road:. The LeClair Village project has passed the 50% completion. To date over <br />$8 million has been expended. The buildings are weather tight. Mechanical, electrical and <br />plumbing related work will follow. The lottery for this affordable housing project is in the <br />planning stage. It is anticipated the project would be complete in the summer of 2024. With <br />local preference, Mashpee residents will get two opportunities to qualify for housing. <br />
