McKelvey: Can this go through CPC? Laurent: Shellfish grown for recreational purposes? It would be a stretch. QS/KCC Bus Access Road connecting two schools Laurent: This would provide a direct connection and a walkway between the Quashnet School and the Coombs School. DeBoer: This came from recommendation from a state agency. Collins: Are there any grant monies? DeBoer: A state agency would probably give some assistance. Laurent: Could require a "match" from the Town. Collins: Can Town labor be used for in kind services? Laurent: Yes. Assistant Town Manager Taylor: Where located? Laurent: It would go behind the tennis courts near Snead Road. DeBoer: It would go where there used to be a path; Snead Road is probably not impacted. McKelvey: Can the School use School Choice Funds? Collins: Should be operations.There is approximately $4 Million in School Choice. School Finance Director Ashley Lopes: All of the monies in School Choice are committed except approximately $300K.
